He brought home a wooden board that he fell in love with at first sight in Nagano Prefecture,
and designed legs to support the heavy board,
which he intended to use as a small table without processing the wood itself.

He replicated the shape of the tree digitally, and then connected the boards that he had cut by hand based on that with regular hexagonal lines,
expressing the appearance of a tree that continues to grow by human hands.

He also extracted the outline of the tree itself from the data,
and offset it, so if you get tired of the look, you can also use the other side as a leg.
