We have obtained a patent for the "Butler Method," the basic structure of our collaborative robot 3D printer, " REX-BUTLER ," which features a fixed head and a movable workpiece . REX-BUTLER is a unique pellet-type 3D printer that combines a collaborative robot with our own domestically developed print head, the proven " EXF-12 ." One of its features is its wide range of compatible materials. It is compatible with a variety of materials, including thermoplastic resins, recycled resins, and biomass materials, and was developed based on a design concept that combines large-scale modeling with on-site ease of implementation.
The newly patented "Butler System" is the core structure of REX-BUTLER and the fundamental technology behind the manufacturing platform that combines collaborative robots and the FGF System. The "Butler System" is based on the operational and mechanical design concepts of collaborative robots in 3D printing, and is a unique basic structure developed for ExtraBold that addresses common issues with conventional large-scale 3D printers (model quality, stable operation, on-site installation, portability, operating costs, etc.) with the assumption of on-site implementation.
