ExtraBold Co., Ltd. collaborated with designer Takumi Yamamoto on the creation of his artwork (room number 22 ) exhibited at the "TOKYO ROOMS" exhibition , using Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd.'s environmentally friendly material " TABWD® (Tabwood) " for the shaping and production.

In this project, based on Mr. Yamamoto's design concept (see below), we created 3D data suitable for fabrication (including segmentation and joining designs). Furthermore, we utilized the large-format 3D printer " EXF-12 " and the collaborative robot-type 3D printer " REX-BUTLER " to provide comprehensive support from material verification to actual production.

By leveraging the unique properties of TABWD®, which combines the texture derived from wood with the workability of resin, we are presenting new possibilities in spatial expression.
